This recent acquisition is a large oil on canvas by Richard B. Coe. It was acquired from an art dealer in upstate New York, where Coe lived for many years after moving from Alabama. The foundation currently has three paintings and numerous sketches by Coe in its collection. Coe participated in the Dixie Art Colony as a guest instructor.
