This large oil on canvas by Doris Alexander Thompson, dated 1956, was included in the large collection of Alexander Thompson's work recently donated to the DAC Foundation. Fortunately, unlike the other paintings, drawings, and stone lithographs this painting came to us nicely framed.

Alexander Thompson is best known for her stone lithography. Several other small oil paintings and numerous gouache paintings are included in the collection.
