Join us as we "Lunch & Learn"

The 60-minute program will feature a video about Alabama glass artist Cal Breed. The documentary was produced by Alabama Public Television as part of the Alabama Craft series. Cal and his wife Christy are owners of Orbix Hot Glass located on a 26-acre parcel of land bordering Little River Canyon National Preserve near Fort Payne, Alabama. Cal is a graduate of Auburn University.

Following the video portion of the program, there will be a discussion about art glass and an opportunity to view examples (including the ones show above) of art glass produced by Orbix Hot Glass, Louis Comfort Tiffany, and Steuben.

This free event at Trinity Episcopal Church, 5375 US Highway 231 in Wetumpka, on Sept. 08, 2016 form 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm is open to all interested parties.  Attendees are encouraged to bring a box or sack lunch. Informative handouts, beverages, and desert will be provided.
