“Dixie Art Colony On The Road” at the Birmingham Museum of Art

The Dixie Art Colony Foundation will be back in Birmingham tomorrow, August 2, 2018, at the Birmingham Museum of Art. Founder and director of the Dixie Art Colony Foundation, Mark Harris will tell the story of one of the Deep South’s first art colonies at the BMA “Art & Conversation” series. Prior to the 10:30 am a presentation, coffee and light refreshments will be served in the main lobby. There is a $12 charge for BMA members and a $17 charge for all others.

A limited amount of free parking is available in the Museum parking lot. Other parking may be found in the Boutwell Auditorium parking deck. For more information call BMA at 205.254.2856. The Museum is located at 2000 Rev. Abraham Woods, Jr. Boulevard in downtown Birmingham.

Many images never publicly shown will be included in the presentation. The presentation will last from 45 to 60 minutes.
