A Downtown Wetumpka Collaborative Art Event

Join the DIXIE ART COLONY FOUNDATION and MARCIA WEBER ART OBJECTS in downtown Wetumpka for a collaborative art event on Thursday, May 20, 2021, 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

The DAC Foundation “Spring Gallery Exhibition” opening will be held in conjunction with Marcia Weber Art Objects May “Thirsty Thursday” event. The DAC Foundation exhibition will feature a selection of new acquisitions, including works by Warree Carmichael LeBron, Doris Alexander Thompson, Arthur Walter Stewart, and Richard Burrell Brough. Marcia Weber Art Objects features a large offering of Contemporary Folk Art, including Mose Tolliver, Jimmie Lee Sudduth, Woodie Long, Michael Banks, Ray Bellew, and Ruth Robinson.

The DAC Foundation Museum & Gallery is located at 219 Hill Street, less than one block from Marcia Weber Art Objects which is located at 118 East Bridge Street. Refreshments will be served outdoors at both locations. Event timing and details may be subject to change depending on weather conditions.
