“Walk Where They Walked” Jasmine Hill Gardens

Join the Dixie Art Colony Foundation at Jasmine Hill Gardens & Outdoor Museum on April 7 and 8 for the "The Jasmine Hill Connection," an exhibition about the history of Jasmine Hill Gardens and the connection to Kelly Fitzpatrick and the Dixie Art Colony.

The exhibit will include storyboards about the history of Jasmine Hill Gardens, original artwork by Dixie Art Colony artists depicting scenes of Jasmine Hill and a Fitzpatrick Family Tree explaining the family connection between artist Kelly Fitzpatrick and Jasmine Hill Gardens founders Ben and Mary Fitzpatrick. There will be a $10:00 admission fee payable to the Jasmine Hill Foundation. The exhibition will be open on Saturday, April 7 form 9:30 am until 5:00 pm and Sunday, April 8 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Jasmine Hill Gardens & Outdoor Museum is located at 3001 Jasmine Hill Road in Wetumpka, Alabama. There is a $10.00 admission fee payable to the Jasmine Hill Foundation.

Numerous plein air painters will also be present throughout the gardens practicing their craft as the Dixie Art Colony artists did during the 1930s and 1940s.
