On Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 6:30 pm, Mark Harris, founder, and director of the Dixie Art Colony Foundation, will be the featured speaker at the Covington County Historical Society meeting held at the Andalusia City Hall Auditorium located at 505 East Three Notch Street in Andalusia. The presentation will include slides and a discussion about Alabama’s historic Dixie Art Colony. Featured in the program will be Dixie Art Colony artist Carlos Alpha “Shiney” Moon, a local business owner and long-time resident of Covington County.
