Dixie Art Colony: Winter 2020 Exhibition

The Dixie Art Colony Museum & Gallery has regular gallery hours each Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. Appointments and small group tours are available upon request. Special tours will include a 16-minute video titled "Dixie Art Colony: A Look At Its Lasting Legacy."

The current exhibit includes work by Dixie Art Colony artists Kelly Fitzpatrick, Carlos Alpha “Shiney” Moon, Arthur Stewart, and Genevieve Southerland. Also on display are six sketches form our recent Dixie Doodles exhibit by Richard Coe, Frank Applebee, Kelly Fitzpatrick, Arthur Stewart, and Austin “Rudy” Martin. A selection of relevant periodicals and books from our DAC Resource Library, along with copies of some of the items form the Dixie Art Colony scrapbooks will also be on display for guests to view.

Downtown Wetumpka

Visit the Dixie Art Colony Museum & Gallery, located at 219 Hill Street, in Downtown Wetumpka. The rotating exhibition of original artwork and memorabilia is changed each quarter. We also conduct monthly programs related to the Dixie Art Colony and Wetumpka artist John Kelly Fitzpatrick.
